A message from Kathleen Maslen, Co-ordinator, Go North Devon Ltd:
As you may be aware Go North Devon provide and operate the North Devon Cancer Care Car service. This local service supports cancer patients who need to get to hospital for chemotherapy and essential cancer related appointments at hospitals in North Devon.
As of the end of May the Cancer Care Car service will be taking on a new look when North Devon Cancer Care Centre Trust (NDCCCT) hand over the fundraising responsibility to Go North Devon where we will continue to manage, co-ordinate and now fundraise the estimated 55k a year to keep the service running.
To start our fundraising, we have set up a Just Giving campaign and wonder if you would be so kind as to share our link on your social media and parish publications so we can raise awareness of how important this service is to so many local people in North Devon and Torridge.
